Monday December 28, 2020 2pm EDT – Blockchain for Legislators with Tyler Lindholm

South Carolina Blockchain is pleased to host this educational event exclusively for South Carolina Legislators.

Tyler Lindholm is the former Majority Whip of “The Cowboy State” Wyoming Legislature.  As the Co-Chair of the Wyoming Blockchain Task Force from 2018-2019, he was instrumental in getting numerous enabling laws passed, and therefore directly responsible for why the state is celebrated for its forward-thinking legislation by the crypto and blockchain industry.

Lindholm was recently named State Policy Director for Senator elect Cynthia Lummis: https://buckrail.com/senator-elect-lummis-announces-senior-staff/

Forbes magazine wrote of him on August 30, 2020:

There is likely no state legislator who fully understands every aspect of blockchain law as Lindholm does, which makes him an extremely valuable commodity for jurisdictions around the world.

OUR HISTORY

SouthCarolinaBlockchain.org originated out of the efforts of our sister organization, PalmettoChain Inc., which was set to sponsor the 1st annual South Carolina Blockchain Conference in March 2020.  Due to COVID-19, the conference was postponed; however, the content scheduled for the conference lays the foundation of the virtual seminar and educational platform now hosted by SouthCarolinaBlockchain.org

Separately, PalmettoChain continues to focus on advocacy and legislative initiatives to promote a conducive regulatory framework for blockchain-enabled technologies, primarily cryptocurrencies and coin offerings, which represent a critically important foundation and functionality underpinning future blockchain business solutions.
